Medical Staff
Dr. Scott Redfern is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He graduated from the University of St.Thomas with a BA in Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology. He received his doctorate from Northwestern Health Science University in Minneapolis. He was trained as a primary care physician after interning at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Chronic Pain Rehabilitation and doing research at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis.
Dr. Redfern's interest in the Weight Loss and Holistic Medicine led him into this practice. Over the last 20 years he has helped thousands of patients achieve better health through education and care of the whole person. Dr. Redfern's interest in leading edge technologies led him to discover the use of lasers in treating health conditions. He is a warm and caring physician who cares deeply about the health of his patients. His clinics have all been considered centers of excellence.
Dr. Redfern received All-American honors in 1980 finishing 14th in the NCAA National Cross Country Championships held in Rochester NY. He has been living and practicing in Seattle for 12 years and resides in West Seattle. His interests include kayaking, writing and healthy living.
Dr. Bahnoo Sharma is originally from Olympia Fields, Illinois.
During college at Northwestern University he worked at a Charity Hospital in Jammu, India which solidified his interest in medicine. Dr. Sharma then matriculated to Rush University College of Medicine in Chicago where he obtained his medical degree.
During residency, Dr. Sharma developed an interest in Bariatric Surgery and Weight Loss Management. Dr. Sharma has completed a Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship and has a special interest in post bariatric surgery and body contouring.
Leslie Fitchner, Nutritional Counselor and Lifestyle Educator
Leslie’s personal experience with weight loss and research in nutrition make her an invaluable member of our health care team. Her forte is in nutrition counseling and therapeutic lifestyle education. Leslie is a master at teaching our clients how to lose their fat and keep it off. She treats each client individually according to his or her special needs.
Leslie is also currently pursuing her Master’s degree in the Science of Nutrition.
Janeth Elizade, Medical Esthetician
Janeth is a skilled esthetician with over nine years of experience.
With her warm personality and attention to detail, Janeth provides excellent care for our patients. Janeth holds multiple certifications and offers a wealth of information about skin care and laser treatments. Janeth is a Zerona trained laser technician.
